Come up to Silverton on Saturday October 26th to connect with the Southern Rockies snow and avalanche community! This is a continuing education and networking event that is great for anybody from never-evers to professionals. Topics will include decision making, the March 2019 avalanche cycle, forecasting in New Mexico and Arizona, and more.

Andy Bond from Taos will be talking about the development of the Taos Avalanche Center.

Come on up! And Depending on the wether, bring your bike, your skis, or your hiking boots.

See you soon.

With 0 registrations from New Mexico's iconic ski destination. All competiton aside everybody should hop on board to network and learn at Four Corners Snow and Avalanche Workshop. We have people coming from Flagstaff for crying out loud.

Agenda is attached. Registration is live at http://avyschool.com/product/four-corne ... 26th-2019/ so get online and sign up stat.

And please put me a chicharrone burrito from Parasol xmas.

What a relief. Finally a sign up from Taos. I know, Breckenridge and CSAW are about the same drive time (and easier) as the trip to Silverton and 4SAW, but you do know where the Rio Grande starts, right? About 7 miles east of Silverton, just over Kendall Peak across Cunningham Gulch on the backside of Canby Mountain. The weekend is here so hop on board for a Snow and Avalanche Workshop near the headwaters of your Rio Grande.
