Skied the main chute today at nambe. I think it must of rained at some point recently because it was a little crusty/icey. I dropped in a little too early in the day, (7am) because of time restraints, but it was still just warm enough to ski and be safe/enjoyable despite it being a tad crusty imo.

We went out to Nambe on Friday the 13th. Sorry it took a while to post. We dropped the main chute around noon and conditions were very nice with no signs of instability on Northerly aspect. There was evidence of a slide on the West facing slope. The snow was spotty as we descended the ski area, but we managed to make it down without unstrapping. I would imagine that this is not the case anymore. There are probably still turns to be had up there though. Cheers!
