Re: Ready for snow....

If the invite's open, I'm down. Last year was a total flop :(

Changes

http://imagemacros.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/fear_not_denizens.jpg As you've probably noticed, NNMAE.org has experienced some downtime. Sorry about that. Anyway, there have been several changes around here to tighten up security and clean up after vermin. The boards are running a newer version of...

For some scary reason, it's hard to get things to run intentionally this year, but seemingly easy to slide otherwise. Loveland started pulling out the 20lb bombs as we've had no luck with the 5lb'ers.

Ok, here's the skinny. Things should work as long as you have the most recent page loaded when submitting a report. To ensure this, hold down the shift key when clicking on the 'submit report' link. If you want to be sure, click the 'submit report' link, then hold down the shift key and click your r...

Re: Aspen Avalanche photos

Check out the photos of the Aspen Avalanche last weekend. This looks very similar to Santa Fe inbound terrain. How many of us have skied this kind of terran will little thought. Scary of what can slide. This creeps me out. I don't think many people (myself included) stop skiing above gladed terrain...

Berthoud Pass - Not NM, but close

Yeah so, this TR isn't about a NM spot, but I thought it interesting for those in the BC scene. Matt was visiting family outside of Canyon City and came up for some skiing today at Berthoud Pass. If you're not familiar with this area, a Google search will quickly fill you in. It's a very popular are...

Here's how it works: The uploads actually move a file from a local machine to the web server through http requests. This is similar to ftp in that it's a file transfer. It's different in that instead of moving the file via a protocol intended for file transfers (ftp = File Transfer Protocol), it mov...

It's always a bit scarier to hear stories like this when they're in your backyard.

FS: tm-22's w/ Fritchi Freerides

One fair core shot, decent amount of scrapes. A base job would take care of the vast majority of it. Freerides have retention spring installed. Includes BD ascention hydrophobic skins (w/ g3 clipfix system riveted on). $300 ($325 if shipped). http://www.smiththemark.org/stuffarooni/tm22-1.jpg http:/...

Hey. Welcome to NM. A lot of the bc skiers in this area stay on the slopes
until later in the spring when things solidify. You can also check out the
yahoo group 'nmskiing'. There's been some activity on there recently.
Keep looking, you'll run into some one heading out.
