I skied at Ski Santa Fe yesterday (first day of the season for me) because the upper mountain was opened. I hiked up to the top of Deception to look at the backcountry. Nice vid! I have to admit I laughed a little when you bogged down at the beginning, but I cringed at a couple of those scrapes.

I’ve seen worse snowpacks this time of year...but I’ve seen a lot better too.
