Taos Peace Sign Saturday?

Postby MarkM » Thu May 02, 2019 9:03 pm

I am thinking about trying Peace Sign, and/or one of the fingers on Saturday. The weather looks good...

The alternative plan is to go to Summit County and use my Taos pass at A-Basin on Saturday, and do a tour on Sunday.

I've got company in town on Saturday and can't get away, I'm thinking about early Friday morning though depending on how this weather goes.

I think the peace sign ran pretty close to the ground earlier this winter, and has since melted out significantly. New snow may change this... but I think the fingers would be a better option for coverage...

Yup - Peace Sign was gone for the season. Did Ring Finger on Sunday - it was most excellent although the skin up was pretty intense - even with ski crampons.
