Driving down from the Ski Basin yesterday i noticed a couple cars in the Big-T parking lot and what suspiciously looked like a skin track up Lost Fork.

Has anyone ventured out into the Big-T area? I'm curious if there is adequate coverage yet...

I'm thinking about checking it out (Lost Fork, that is) tomorrow. Deciding between that or TSV.

If I go to LF it'll be around 10ish. Taos, earlier.

We did a tour up Tootsie Roll (near the Lost Fork, similar aspect and elevation) this morning. Climbed about 1000 feet. There was actually some good powder, but it is still a little thin. Lots and lots of deadfall and snags to negotiate, but not too many rocks in there. Needs another storm, I think. But it was worth the climb.
