technical issues w/ Justin's report - arrgh!

Postby Bob » Thu Oct 22, 2009 8:20 pm

Justin submitted a nice little snow report today, but I'm having trouble getting it to show up. You may be able to view it at:

Master Webmaster Mark should be working on this soon, in spite of suffering from swine flu and being banished to the Front Range.

Thanks for the report Justin and congrats on first tracks. We'll get it worked out on our end. The text and pictures follow:

October appetizer
Submitted by: Justin

Location: SF Ski Basin
Date: Sep 22, 2009 Temp (C):
Wind Speed: Wind Direction:

A foot came in yesterday, so Mark Mortier and I decided to go check it out at the basin. Mostly on principle. It's October, so that means you pretty much have to go if you can.
Equipment: rock skis, dogs, sense of humor.

Conditions were slow, sticky, and shallow—but white! We tried to hit only soft rocks, and did a pretty good job.

But yeah, we got some.

That made me laugh. Jasper, your bases are...legendary! I should post a picture. I've never - never - seen such, uh, well-used bases. Your cards must be all aces, my man.
