moderate el nino conditions have northern NM at equal to above-average expected precipitation for winter 09/10! let's hope for an epic year! you can check out the latest discussions in the climate section of the national weather service.

Thanks for jinxing us! Ullr is displeased with your behavior. At this rate, the Pajarito avy class will be stuck digging cat holes instead of snow pits. Where's the snow?

Heh, maybe over the next week or so we'll catch a decent storm track. Here's hoping.

taos old timers all know about the january "thaw." patience... i'm still optimistic for a good feb & march.

avy course, now that's another story. pray for snow next week.
