How did Jicarilla Peak look? Thinking about trying to ski it on Memorial day.

The north facing lines will certainly still be full. East was empty. With this recent storm, anyone's guess what the surface with be like Monday.

Pretty nice inbounds today at Santa Fe. About 8" of new snow. damp/styrofoam/powder. Lots of snow in the trees, but heavy. My tracks lookers left, some other lucky person before me right. It was sweet enough to be well worth the effort of the three laps I made to different shots, searching for the goods.

I think it will get very heavy and sticky, just like we had on Pico de Gallo, before it goes to corn.

Jicarilla is really nice descent and not super far from the trailhead. Here's the NW chute in May 2005. Have fun!

yes to next weekend

I'm interested in next weekend, particularly camping the evening prior in order to get an early start and finish. At the moment, no preference btwn Sat or Sun. Was at Williams Lake on Sun & Mon, found a big difference in the skiability of the exit at 1:00pm versus 2:30pm.

Anyone want to carpool from Albuquerque?
