Tres Ritos Conditions

Hello all,

Made it up to Tres Ritos/Agua Piedras today to finally check it out. Here's a little history: http://www.taosnews.com/lifestyle/agua- ... 49108.html

There had been a lot of sledding activity, which is normal for the area, but there was about 600-800 vertical feet of skiing available. Snow was good, about 8-10" or so on the ground, and had it not been tracked out, would have been good, wide open turning. The Xc skiing, which I did after climbing and telemarking, was excellent.

Not mind blowing, but a fun place to go and mess around. Would love to come back and explore some of the deeper trees, but it was already starting to get warm.
