TrevDog that was me and my wife. We saw you guys up on the ridge hiking over. Based on the soft snow we found I bet heaven was pretty nice up high. I'll PM you for those pics. Thanks!

The Nambé was in good shape today - I dropped in to the boot-out chute around noon and the snow was just soft enough. Some of the smaller entrances are starting to melt out but the main shots are good to go. Skinning up and skiing back out through the ski area was fine.

I skied Nambé for the first time today with my son Oliver. We skinned in from the ski area, last part along Raven's Ridge - what a gorgeous view! Skiing down, the snow was pretty hard in the upper areas, nice and soft surface near the meadow (1pm). We continued through Nambé Lake, Winsor Trail, and from the Wilderness Gate back to the parking lot. Except for the last part we had continuous snow, a little soft in the lower areas. Fun Good Friday trip!
