I just thought I'd try abusing my newly-awarded forum admin privleges (thanks Mark!) and start an education forum.

So, I'm headed up to Silverton for the Silverton Avalanche School's avy level 2 class, and I was wondering if anyone here had taken it already or was going to be there for this class.

I'll likely post a TR when I get back.

Took it last year and enjoyed it, but wished we had gone more in depth into full on snow pit analysis. Not as many impressive movies as level 1 but more science.
